About S.D.A Senior High School, Bekwai

S.D.A. Senior High is located between Bekwai and
Asanso on the Anwiankwanta-Cape Coast road.
The institution was established by the Seventh-
Day Adventist Church in 1953. It co-existed with the
Certificate “A” 2-years, 4-years and later 3-years
Teacher Training College till 1974 when the Teacher
Training College was phased out leaving the
Secondary School. The motto of the school is LUMEN
TUMM FULGEAT translated, ‘Let Your Light Shine’.

VISION

To create a centre to train students to achieve moral
and academic excellence and to develop desirable
careers that fit into the dreams of society.

MISSION

To train the Head, the Hands and the Heart of a
students to achieve total and holistic education
to prepare them for the joy of service to God and
humanity.
