Ghana Export Promotion Authority
The Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) was established in 1969 by an Act of Parliament as the National Export Trade Support Institution responsible for the development and promotion of Ghana's Export. GEPA focuses primarily on the diversification of Ghana's export base from the traditional export products of Unprocessed Minerals, Cocoa Beans, Timber Logs and Lumber.
GEPA's clientele includes over 4000 registered private sector exporting companies categorized into various Export Product Associations. GEPA relates to these clients both on individual corporate basis and as groups/associations. GEPA also acts as an interface between these exporters and other public organisatons.
Mission
To support the Private sector in developing a prominent and sustainable position for Ghanaian non-traditional export products and services.
Special Focus on Women
We assist generally with Export Trade issues such as policy advocacy, information dissemination and many more. We guide women entrepreneurs through product development, provision of PPEs, assist in participation of Virtual Trade Fairs and provide capacity building in crisis Management.
