The Tullow Oil Ghana is an operation centre of Tullow Oil PLC. The Tullow Oil started in a small town called Tullow, about 35 miles South of Dublin, Ireland. It all began when Aidan Heavey decided to rework certain oil fields in Senegal and other parts of Africa, when lacked knowledge of the industry, had no major backers and was starting a company in a country with no oil industry. Tullow Oil is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company. The Group has interests in over 50 exploration and production licenses across 11 countries. Since 2006, Tullow has had interests in two exploration licenses offshore Ghana. Our Purpose The purpose of Tullow Oil is to build a better future through responsible oil and gas development. We aim to create long-term value for all of our stakeholders; which are our investors, our host countries, and our people.
