Initially it was to polish artisans such as mechanics, welders etc. within the Sekondi / Takoradi metropolis until in 1982, the Ghana Education Service through the technical/ vocational education division converted the centre into Takoradi Technical Institute. VISION Takoradi Technical Institute’s vision is to be second to none in the production of middle-level manpower for industry and self-employment. MISSION To produce skills and qualifications that meet the changing needs of the labour market.
