Gender - Girls Housing status - Day & Boarding Year of Establishment - 1960 Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School School established by the first president Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah in 1960 as Saltpond Girls’ School. It started with 70 girls and 4 teachers including the Headmistress. The school’s motto is “Obra nye woara abo”. VISION To be the preferred school that provides education to all girls at the second cycle level to enable them to acquire skills that will assist them to develop their potentials. MISSION The school is charged with the responsibility of implementing the second cycle aspects of the goals of the Ministry of Education in order to achieve high-quality secondary education and training relevant to the manpower needs of the country and making it accessible to all girls at the Senior High School level.
