Gender - Mixed Housing status - Day and Boarding Year of Establishment - 1961 About KNUST Senior High School Technology Secondary School, now KNUST Senior High School was founded in February 1961 by the late Dr. R. P. Baffour, the first Vice-Chancellor of the University of Science and Technology, to provide Secondary/Technical Education for students who would eventually enter the University. Since the School was directly under the control of the University, the Vice-Chancellor appointed an Advisory Committee to manage its affairs, but its day-to-day running was in the hands of the wives of some Senior Lecturers of the University. VISION To be the Secondary and Technical Institution of choice for students who would eventually enter the university. MISSION Consistently monitoring our students and teachers in running programmes of study to achieve both academic and moral excellence.
