The School popularly known as “Great APASS” was founded by the Late Rev. J.W. De-Graft Johnson. The school started from a very humble beginning in cocoa shed at “Apaa Paado” on the morning of 20th February 1953 as a Day Secondary School. It then moved to its present location “Mmora Mfa Adwen” in 1960. APASS has a great tradition of excellence in academics and sports. VISION To be a centre of training for churning out hardworking individuals who are of service to mankind. MISSION The school exists to provide a conducive atmosphere for character training, excellence in academics and sports all in a bid to produce knowledgeable, useful and all round citizens imbued with good character and skills that will epitomize the school’s motto “obrapa gya owura kwan”; thus character and efficiency.
