Its establishment was initiated by some prominent citizens of Akim Akroso notably the late Nana Afariwua IV, Lawrence Ampofo Bempong, Addae Bediako, D. S. K. Acquah, Nana Job Amoako, A. A. Bempong, Solomon Kwadwo Obeng and others. The school is situated on a 94-acre tract of land on the south eastern part of Akim Akroso in the Birim Central Municipality of the Eastern Region. VISION To develop a model school of excellence and inculcate in students, discipline and quality education to enhance human resource development.. MISSION To apply effective teaching, learning and proper administrative techniques to help in producing human resource.
