Formed in 1994 with the express purpose of increasing the risk carrying capacity of the Ghanaian insurance market. It was formed by entrepreneurial Ghanaians who wished to contribute to the development of the insurance industry in Ghana. Since inception the company has focused almost on the transaction of business within the Ghanaian market. However a review of strategy has enabled the Company to receive business outside of Ghana. The company has shown significant growth over the past five (5) years. As a consequence all earnings have been retained with the express purpose of increasing a healthy solvency margin to take advantage of new business opportunities
