About Zabzugu Senior High School

The school was officially opened on Wednesday,
24th January, 1991, as a day community school. It was
established to make secondary school education
accessible to the people of the area. This was part
of the general programme of the government to
expand and extend secondary education to all parts
of the country.
The school is located in Tuvugu which is at the northeastern
part of Zabzugu.

VISION
To attract, train and produce scholars from the
various ethnic groups in the community who will
impact positively on national productivity national
development agenda.

MISSION

The school seeks to offer sound and quality education
to qualified Junior High School graduates to enable
them acquire good attitudes and skills that would
assist them develop their potentials to be productive
and useful to themselves and the country at larger.

  ACHIEVEMENT

•  The school performed very well in the WASSCE
  with 72% pass in all the subjects in 2011 and
  2012. The school was one of the best performed
  schools in the region.
• In 2014 and 2015, the science and Mathematics
  club performed creditably by beating all the
  schools in its zone to qualify for inter –zonal.
  Subsequently, the school qualified and took
  part in the National Science and Mathematics
  Quiz Competition in Accra.
• In the area of sports, the school is noted to be a
  hero in its zone. In 2015, for example, the school
  did very well in athletics and also emerged the
  best in soccer and was asked to represent the
  zone in the inter-zonal competition in Bole for
  soccer.”
